By this petition, the petitioner (father) had sought a writ of habeas corpus to produce his daughter, who according to him was in the illegal custody of one Raja Ramveer Yadav. 2.

It was the petitioner's case that Raja Ramveer Yadav had kidnapped his daughter, pursuant to which his daughter, a minor ran away.

We had directed the police to trace the girl. Pursuant thereto, the police produced the petitioner's daughter before us. by RAJESHWARI RAMESH PILLAI Date:

Having regard to her age, we kept the matter in chamber. We have in our order dated 23rd June 2023 recorded that after interacting with the petitioner's daughter, she disclosed that she wanted to stay with the Rescue Foundation, Boisar till she attains age of majority. Accordingly, we allowed the petitioner and his wife to meet their pregnant daughter, once every week, on Sunday.

The petitioner's daughter wishes to continue to stay with the Rescue Foundation, Boisor till she attains age of majority. 6.

Considering the aforesaid, nothing survives for consideration in the petition, since the petitioner's daughter's whereabouts are now known to the petitioner.

Needless to state that the petitioner and his wife can meet their daughter as permitted by this court vide order dated 23rd June 2023.
