At present, we are not inclined to accept the contentions of the petitioner with regard to the prayer to issue degree certificate by the College. The caste claim of the petitioner is still pending. 2.

Mr.Walimbe, the learned AGP, appears for respondent nos.1 & 2. 3.

It is submitted that the degree of the petitioner is withheld by respondent no.3 and the vigilance has been conducted. 4.

In light of that, we pass the following order :- (i) The respondent no.2 - Committee shall decide the validation of the proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within one month from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

(ii) The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 3rd

(iii) Depending on the judgment that may be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceedings, parties may take further steps.
