This application is registered on the basis of communication sent by the appellant/accused through jail wherein the appellant/accused has stated that because of illness of his wife and the outstanding loan taken for treatment of wife, he obtained currency notes worth Rs.3,000/- for exchange on commission basis and in the process of exchanging those currency notes, he came to be arrested. With this, the appellant/accused has stated that by showing mercy one more chance be granted to him by reducing the sentence imposed upon him.

The application is, therefore, rejected.

Put up the appeal for final hearing immediately as the same pertains to year 2015 and the appellant/accused is undergoing jail sentence.
