DATE : OCTOBER 20, 2022.
P.C.:
1.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent order is passed by the Committee invalidating the caste claim of the petitioner as belonging to Thakur Tribe. The Committee has invalidated the caste claim of father of the petitioner in the year 2021. 2.
Naturally the Committee will have to consider whether the invalidation of the petitioner's caste claim was brought to the notice of the petitioner when the father was issued validity certificate. An enquiry will have to be conducted by it. Considering that the matter involves social status of the petitioner, we are inclined to grant one more opportunity to the petitioner.
3.
The impugned order is set aside. The matter is remitted to the Scrutiny Committee. The petitioner may place on record additional
921.WP11604_2019.doc documents that the petitioner may rely. The Committee shall thereafter decide the validation procedure expeditiously. 4.
Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is exploring the possibility of admission to B Pharma Course. The validity certificate may be required to be submitted by 17th November, 2022. 5.
The petitioner may appear before the Committee on 1st November, 2022. The Committee shall thereafter consider all the relevant aspects of the matter and decide the same by 15th November, 2022. 6.
