The Petitioner has challenged the order passed under Section 48 (7) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 levying penalty for illegal excavation. As pointed out by the learned AGP, the Petitioner has a remedy of appeal and further remedies under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code itself.
