1] By an Order dated 30th August 2018, the applicant was granted interim relief and was directed to attend the concerned Investigating Officer on stipulated dates, to join the process of investigation. 2] Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP. Perused the record.

3] The first information report discloses that, the only allegation against the applicant is that, on the date and time of incident he along with accused No.1 Sudhir Bodake threatened the informant with direconsequence, if he fails to withdraw the civil suit instituted by him. The record of investigation indicates that, in furtherance of Order dated 1/2

aba.1739-2018.doc 30.8.2018, the applicant has attended the Investigating Officer and has join the process of investigation.

4] In view thereof, the custodial interrogation of the applicant for further investigation of the present crime is not necessary. Interim relief granted by Order dated 30th August 2018 is hereby confirmed. However, the condition to attend the Investigation Officer is waived.
