There is a innocuous prayer in the Petition in as much as direction is sought to the Respondent No. 2 to decide the application filed by the Petitioner within stipulated period.

Pursuant to the notices issued to the Respondent, second Respondent has filed affidavit in reply. In the said affidavit in reply it is stated that, application filed by the Petitioner will be decided within three months.

In that view of the matter, we direct second Respondent to Umesh Malani
2/2 923.CWP.10002.2018.doc decide the pending application of the Petitioner, if already not decided in accordance with the law as expeditiously as possible, however, by end of May, 2020.

With the above observations, Writ Petition stand disposed of. Ad-interim relief granted by this Court on 10th September, 2018 shall remain in force till end of May, 2020.
