Having regard to the nature of the reliefs sought, it is not possible to grant prayer clause (a) in our jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India and under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code. In so far as prayer clause (b) is concerned in the absence of data from the Sessions Court, it is not possible to accede to the request of the Petitioners for expedition of the trial. The above Writ Petition to accordingly stand disposed of.
