There is no dispute about the fact that the Petitioner's request for being provided with the protection was turned down by the concerned authority and which decision was communicated to the Petitioner by the Communication dated 13/07/2017, on a copy of which the Petitioner's signature as evidence of having received the said letter, has been obtained. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner Mr.V.V. Purwant however states that even after the said rejection, the Petitioner has received threats. If that be so, it is for the Petitioner to bring the same to the notice of the appropriate authority and the appropriate authority to consider the same in accordance with the rules.

With the observations as aforesaid, the Writ Petition is disposed of. The letter dated 22/11/2017 is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification.
