Learned Counsel for the parties tender Consent Terms. The Consent Terms are duly signed by the parties and their respective Advocates. Learned Counsel seek disposal of the First Appeal in terms of the Consent Terms. The Consent Terms provide for dissolution of marriage between the parties by mutual consent. The Consent Terms provide for withdrawal of pending proceedings against each other by the parties as also return of jewellery.

In accordance with the Consent Terms, a demand draft of Rs.15 lakhs is handed over by the Appellant to the Respondent. The jewellery mentioned in clause (a) of para 9 of the Consent Terms has also been handed over by the Appellant to Respondent, receipt of which is confirmed by learned Counsel for the Respondent. The Consent Terms

sg 2/2 fa267-17.doc are tendered in presence of both parties. The same are taken on record, marked "X" for identification. The statements and undertakings contained therein are accepted.

The First Appeal is disposed of in terms of the Consent Terms and there will be a decree of mutual divorce dissolving the marriage between the parties as of today.
