On 9 November 2022, following order was passed : "This appeal is filed by the mother of the childRayyan against the order passed by the Family Court, Pune dated 9 October 2009 directing that the custody of Rayyan be handed over to the Respondent / Original Petitioner - the father. The child Rayyan was 19 months old when the petition was filed. We are informed that Rayyan is now 17 years old.

The learned counsel for the Appellant states that the child Rayyan will remain present in the Court so that his wishes can be ascertained.

The minor is present in the Court and we have interacted with him. He states that he is currently residing with his father. Learned counsel for the Appellant states that some times he is visiting the mother as well.
