The petitioner is permitted to amend the petition to include the Gat number of the land which was held by him which came to be acquired for the purpose of Chandoli Reserved Forest. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as respondent- State.

The petitioner contends that his land came to be acquired for the purpose of Chandoli Reserved Forest way back in 2013-14.

skn 2/2 7580.17-wp.sxw In spite of 65% of compensation retained by the respondent authorities, till date the respondents have not put the petitioner in possession of an alternate land and the application is pending before the concerned Resettlement Officer. The documents annexed to the petition indicate details of the land which was acquired and the land which was offered.

In the above circumstances, we direct the respondent authorities to treat this writ petition as representation of the petitioner and decide the same within a period of two months from today.
