The petitioners claim to be purchasers of a part of the land. The petitioner seeks sub-division.

In that event the petitioners have to adopt the recourse as provided under Section 85 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. The petitioner may fle application, which would be considered by the Authority on its own merit expeditiously.

As far as name in the revenue record is concerned, the petitioners may fle an application to the Authority and the Authority may decide the application on its own merits under the provisions of Record of Right Rules and take steps accordingly.
