Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGP for the respondent nos. 1 to 3.

An application was made by the petitioner on 5th August, 2014 (Exh. B) to the first respondent for grant of a leave under section 107 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 to institute the proceedings in the Labour Court at Kolhapur under the MRTU & PULP Act, 1971 against the Liquidator of a Cooperative Bank.

The fourth respondent Co-operative Bank is under liquidation and second respondent is the liquidator appointed. The 1/3

grievance is that notwithstanding the repeated reminders, the application is still kept pending.

The learned AGP has no instructions as regard the status of the said application.

Hence, we dispose of the petition by passing the following order :

(a) We direct the petitioner to appear before the first respondent on 24th November, 2015 at 11.00 a.m. The petitioner shall produce an authenticated copy of this order as well as a true copy of the application dated 5th August, 2014. We direct the first respondent to decide the said application as expeditiously as possible and in any event on or before 31st December, 2015; (b) Petition is disposed of in terms of the above directions. (c) All concerned to act on authenticated copy of this order.
