On liberty being granted to the applicant to renew his request for bail, if the trial is not concluded within six months as indicated in the order dated 06/01/2021, the learned counsel states that despite the direction issued by the Apex Court on 06/01/2021 AJN

2/2 07 BA-4063.21.odt to complete the trial in a time bound manner and within a period of six months, the prosecution has failed to adhere to the time schedule.

The learned A.P.P., on instructions from the Investigating Officer, who is present in the court, states that 10 witnesses are required to be examined and the evidence of one of the witnesses i.e. the father of the victim is already recorded. 3.

She has instructions to make a statement that the trial shall be concluded by conducting it on day-today basis and in any case, it shall be concluded on or before 30/07/2022. When the learned A.P.P. is reminded of the intervening event, being the summer vacation, she states, on instructions, that the prosecution will proceed with the trial on day-today basis, provided the applicant renders his co-operation.

Upon the said statement being made, the application is disposed off.

It is made clear that I have not entertained the application on it's merits.
