Apparently the petitioner being the owner of Survey No.79 admeasuring 50 Ares of land at Taluka Shahuwadi, District Kolhapur, has raised a grievance that in spite of acquiring the abovesaid land for development of Chandoli Reserve Forest Project in the year 1999 and in spite of retaining 65% of the total compensation payable to the petitioner, no alternative land is identified and allotted to the petitioner till date. 2.

In that view of the matter, having regard to several representations addressed to the Sub-Divisional Officer of Ichalkaranji Division, we direct the respondent Authorities to treat ABS

WP 10890-2017 the writ petition as a representation and consider the same strictly adhering to the procedure contemplated. However, we make it clear that the respondent Authorities shall intimate the petitioner, if any further information is required, within one month from today. After receiving further information, the representation shall be disposed of within two months thereafter.

The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
