The learned counsel appearing for the State Election Commission on instructions of the Assistant Commissioner submits that the State Election Commission will seriously look into the grievances made by the petitioners. It is submitted that the State Election Commission is of the opinion that a fresh exercise for finalization of the voters' list will be carried out. While finalizing the voters' list, necessary corrections will be carried out in the voters' list.

We direct the State Election Commission to take necessary steps in accordance with the directions and the statement made before this Court, to hold a free and fair election. Petition is disposed of.
