Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The Petitioner, a physically challenged person, is aggrieved by the action of the Respondent Bank of withdrawal of the promotion granted to him earlier.

It is not necessary for us to scrutinize the issue any further in view of the stand taken by the Respondent Bank. Learned counsel for Respondent Bank submitted that he has received instructions that the impugned decision would be reconsidered and appropriate order as per law will be passed.

Accordingly, we dispose of the Petition by recording the statement made by the learned counsel for Respondent Bank that the impugned decision will be reconsidered.

A fresh decision be taken within a period of four weeks. The fresh decision will take note of the decision of the Apex Court in the case of Siddaraju vs. State of Karnataka1. 6.

Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
