Ms Apeksha Dangche i/b. Ms Shakuntala Wadekar for the Petitioner. Ms N.S. Jain, APP for the Respondent No.1-State. CORAM : SMT. ANUJA PRABHUDESSAI, J.

DATE : 08th NOVEMBER, 2017 P.C. :

By this application, the Petitioner has sought expeditious disposal of case No.PW/6200536/2015 pending before the 62nd Court, Bhoiwada, Dadar, Mumbai. The learned counsel for the Petitioner has submitted that the first informant is a senior citizen and that his evidence has not been recorded even though the charges were framed way back in the year 2015.

2.

I have perused the records. The roznama, which is placed on record indicates that the charges were framed in July-2015. Since Megha 1/2

11_wp_3698_2017.doc then the matter has been adjourned time and again at the request of the accused. Considering the above facts and also considering the fact that the Petitioner is a senior citizen, the learned Trial Judge is directed to record evidence of the first informant as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3.

The Petition stands disposed of in above terms. (SMT. ANUJA PRABHUDESSAI, J.) Megha 2/2
