Heard the learned advocate for the applicant and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The applicant has been convicted under Section 302 of IPC for causing the death of Sandip by assaulting him with a knife. The evidence of PW 3 Shaikher Rao shows that the applicant assaulted Sandip. The evidence of PW 8 Dr. Shinde who conducted the post-mortem shows that Sandip had

jdk 2 16.cr.appa.1310.17.doc sustained seven injuries. There is also other evidence on record which connects the applicant with the crime. In this view of the matter, we are not inclined to grant bail to the applicant. Application is rejected.
