The Petitioner has a remedy to challenge the impugned order of refusal of caste certificate before the Caste Scrutiny Committee. In the circumstances, we dispose of the Petition with liberty to the Petitioner to file an Appeal before the Caste Scrutiny Committee under section 5 of the Maharashtra Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, De-Notified Tribes (Vimukta Jatis), Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward Category (Regulation of Issuance and Verification of) Caste Certificate Act, 2000 and Rule 7 of the Maharashtra Scheduled Castes, De-Notified Tribes (Vimukta Jatis), Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward Category (Regulation of Issuance and Verification of) Caste Certificate Rules, 2012. In the event the Appeal is filed 1/2
