Heard learned Counsel for the respective parties. This petition is filed for issuance of directions to the Senior Inspector of Police, EOW, Mumbai to register the FIR on the allegations made by the petitioner.

In the light of the decision of the Apex Court in the case of Lalitkumari Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh, (2011) 11 SCC 331, we dispose of this petition by directing the Senior Inspector of Police, Uday S. Jagtap

3923-14-wp=.doc EOW, Mumbai to hold a preliminary inquiry into the petitioner's complaint and take appropriate decision. The decision arrived at by the EOW, thereafter shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of 7 days from the date of the said decision. 3.
