This is an application for expediting the hearing of Criminal Appeal No.157 of 2016. Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that since he is convicted, he is dismissed from service. His wife is suffering from cancer and there are heavy financial requirements for her treatment. He has two children and therefore, it is difficult for him to manage the household duties without income. He has good case on merits.

Considering these submissions, the application is allowed. The Criminal Appeal No.157 of 2016 be added to the weekly final hearing board commencing from 21.11.2022. 4.

The application is disposed of.
