Sole appellant died on 1 st July, 2020, whereafter Advocate for the appellant addressed a letter to the son of deceased appellant and called for particulars of the legal representatives of the deceased. It appears, Advocate did not receive any particulars nor he was communicated whether to prosecute the appeal through legal representatives. In view of this, an application was filed by Advocate seeking withdrawal of his Vakalatnama under Rule 17 Chapter 10 of the High Court Appellate Side Rules, 1960. Alongwith an application, he has filed copy of the letter dated 3 rd

Rane 2/2 SA-743-2012 (sr.16) 5.4.2021 October, 2020 addressed to the son of the deceased and a postal receipt, as well as copy of the death certificate. In view of the facts of the case and in terms of the provisions of Order 22 sub-rule 3(2), the appeal abates. The advocate on record is discharged.
