Keeping in view the stand taken by the State Government in para 4 and the reliefs claimed in the Petition, we are of the view that nothing survives in this Petition. However, we direct the State Government to proceed as expeditiously as possible in regard to the enquiry referred to in para 4 of the reply of the State, in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Petition is disposed of.
