On the earlier dates, notice came to be issued to the appellant, but the notice issued on 29th January, 2021 has returned with a report that the appellant-Ravi Velavedu Kharad, who is the sole appellant in the appeal, has expired on 27th February, 2020.

The said report, received from Senior Police Inspector, Bhandup Police Station, Mumbai, is perused. The death certificate of the appellant is also annexed to the said report. 3.

In light of the statement contained in the said report that the appellant has already expired, the appeal stands abated and disposed of as such.
