2] This petition is filed seeking directions to the respondents to forthwith take cognizance of the complaint made by the petitioner, vide his letter dated 21st September, 2016. 3] Ms.Pai, learned APP, on the basis of the instructions from Mr.Netaram Maske, P.I., Sir J.J.Marg Police Station, Mumbai, makes a statement that a preliminary inquiry has been made, no case is 1/2

Learned APP placed on record the postal receipt under which communication was sent to the petitioner. We have perused the receipt and same is returned back. 4] In the light of the above, we found that the petitioner has an alternate remedy to approach the Magistrate. We are, therefore, not inclined to entertain the petition and same is, accordingly, disposed of as dismissed.
