The petitioner is undergoing life imprisonment in Kolhapur Central prison, Kalamba. The prayer of the petitioner is that his case for premature release to be decided expeditiously.

Learned APP on instructions from the Superintendent of Kolhapur Central prison dated 28/04/2017 states that the petitioner's case has been categorized and he has been released from prison on 25/04/2017. This communication is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. 5.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is infructuous hence Rule is discharged.
