Learned counsel for respondent No.3 submitted that the application for renewal of the passport will be considered in accordance with law.

For the reasons mentioned in the application, the respondent No.3 may consider the renewal/reissue of the passport of the applicant for a period of five years, if otherwise the applicant is found eligible.
