By this petition, the Petitioner is challenging the order / communication dated 8th September 2015 issued by Respondent No. 1 State Election Commission whereunder the Petitioner's request to reserve and allot any of the symbols from ureserved symbols only for ensuing general election of 3rd Respondent's municipal corporation election is rejected. Learned AGP submitted that general election to Kolhapur Municipal Corporation is already over and therefore petition is rendered infructuous. In that view of the matter, writ petition is dismissed.
