skc 46-WP-10197-14
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
CIVIL APPELLATE JURISDICTION WRIT PETITION NO. 10197 OF 2014 Yuvraj Ananda Sawant ..
Petitioner vs.
Ganesh Madhav Alwani & Ors.
..
Respondents Mr. S. M. Gorwadkar i/b Mr. R. G. Shinde for Petitioner. Mr. S. D. Rayrikar - AGP for Respondent No. 6. CORAM : M. S. SONAK, J.
DATE: 13 JANUARY 2015 P.C. :- 1] Leave to implead the State of Maharashtra as party respondent. Amendment be carried out forthwith. Mr. Rayrikar, the learned AGP waives service for the newly added respondent no. 6. 2] The challenge in this petition is to the interim order dated 22 July 2014 made by the Minister (Revenue) in revision application no. 6288 of 2014. The grievance made by the petitioner is that despite caveat, no notice was served upon the petitioner. Rather than entertain the present petition against the interim order, it would be appropriate if directions are issued for expeditious disposal of the revision application no. 6288 of 2014 by the Minister (Revenue). Such a direction, would obviously not occasion any prejudice to the revision petitioner before the learned Minister. 1/2
skc 46-WP-10197-14 3] Accordingly, directions are issued for expeditious disposal of the revision application no. 6288 of 2014. The revision application be disposed of within a period of four months from the date of this order. The petitioner is directed to produce an authenticated copy of this order before the Minister (Revenue).
4] With the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of. (M. S. SONAK, J.) Chandka 2/2
