Learned A.P.P. states that offence invoked is only under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, as the case of the prosecution is, a demand was raised. He also makes a statement that voice sample of the applicant is to be obtained and if he reports to the Investigating Offcer, it would suffce the purpose and no custodial interrogation is necessary. Hence, the following order.

(a) Application is allowed.

(b) In the event of arrest in connection with C.R.No.679 of 2022 registered with Manpada Police Station, applicant-Nitin Bhika Rathod shall be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond to the extent of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

(c) The applicant shall report to the Investigating Offcer on 17th & 18th October, 2022 between 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. and, thereafter, as and when called for and shall render his co-operation.

(d) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police Offcer and shall not tamper with evidence.
