We find that Superintendent of Kolhapur Central Prison has on 10/8/2018 informed officer of this Court that the recommendation of convicting Court on issue of remission was sought and pending. 3.

Prisoner is claiming remission on account of 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.

If the recommendation of convicting Court is received, we direct the Superintendent of Kolhapur Central Prison to proceed further and take suitable decision. If it is not received, we direct the convicting Court to expedite the action and to submit its report to Superintendent of Kolhapur Central Prison within three weeks from the date of receipt of this order by it. After receipt of that recommendation, Superintendent of
