The learned Counsel appearing for petitioner submits that two representations have been made to the Chairman and Managing Director, Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. dated 21st July, 2017 and 25th April, 2018 in respect of petitioner's request for granting benefit under the provisions of Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

The learned Counsel on instructions of the petitioner who is present in Court makes a statement that if these two representations are directed to be decided then the petitioner is not pressing the petition.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the contentions raised in the representation, we direct the Chairman and Managing Director, Konkan Railway or any other designated authority entitled to entertain the representation of this nature to deal with the representation on its own merits, communicate its view to the petitioner within 8 weeks from receipt of order passed by this Court. 4.
