The Petitioners have sought to challenge the order passed under section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code by way of this Petition. The Petitioners have filed a Revision as against this order on 9 July 2021 which is stated to be pending before the State Government (Hon'ble Revenue Minister). It is a grievance of the Petitioners that the Revision filed before the State is still pending and directions be issued for time bound disposal.

We are not inclined to issue such instructions in a routine manner. It is always open to the Petitioners to seek information as to why the katkam 1/2

k 2/2 28 wp 12700.22 as.doc Revision is not been taken up and within how much time the Revision would be taken up, if necessary, by exercising their right under the Right to Information Act. Without exercising this valuable right, the Petitioners have directly rushed to the Court.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
