Matter was heard at length on different dates and orders were passed from time to time. At the request of Mr.

2 903-WP.No.10764-2014 Godbole, learned Senior Counsel matter was adjourned till today so as to enable him to take instructions from the petitioner whether petitioner wishes to prosecute this petition or not. Mr. Sabnis has tendered photocopy of the letter dated 4th May, 2017 addressed by the petitioner to him along with photocopy of his Identity Card issued by Election Commission of India. The same is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification. In pursuance of the written instructions, Mr. Sabnis seeks permission to withdraw the petition.
