} Petitioners versus The District Collector, } Thane and Ors.
} Respondents Mr. S. G. Kudle for the petitioners.

CORAM :- S. C. DHARMADHIKARI & B. P. COLABAWALLA, JJ.
DATED :- FEBRUARY 15, 2017 P.C. :- 1.
The learned AGP has filed a compliance affidavit. A copy of the letter of appointment issued to the petitioner is enclosed thereto.
2.
We accept the compliance of this court's order and earlier directions. We clarify that though the terms and conditions and particularly condition no. 2 states that the appointment is on temporary basis and can be terminated or put an end to without assigning any reasons, it is common ground that the appointment is to the post of Talathi in the office of the Collectorate, District J.V.Salunke,PA
901-WP.11160.2014.doc Palghar. Such a stipulation as is incorporated has now been clarified, only pertains to the probationary period, which the petitioner has to satisfactorily complete. It does not mean that after satisfactory completion of the probationary period this condition can bind the petitioner. Since there is a compliance affidavit, now we do not pursue the matter any further. The writ petition is disposed of.
