The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners seeks time to take instructions. The Petition is pending from the year 2009. Though files were misplaced, now the files have been reconstructed. 2.

Though in paragraph 9, it is stated that various representations were made by various public spirited persons in respect of the subject matter of the Petition, there is not even an averment that the Petitioners made any such representation. Moreover, copies of the representations allegedly made by the public spirited persons have not been annexed.

The Petitioners have sought a writ of mandamus. 4.

If the grievance of the Petitioners still subsists, it will be open for the Petitioners to make an appropriate representation to the concerned Competent Authorities. If such representations are made, the concerned Competent Authority shall look into the same and shall take appropriate action in accordance with law. Subject to what is observed above, the Petition is disposed of.
