This is an application for protection under Section 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure,1973 for a temporary period with a view to approach competent Court having jurisdiction to prefer an application for anticipatory bail or any other relief. It is submitted by the advocate for applicant that police attached to Gobindghar Mandi Police Station, Fatehgarh Sahib District had visited the residence of applicant with local police and they had informed that offence has been registered with said police vide CR No.86 of 2018 for offences under Sections 406 and 420 of Indian Penal Code. The applicant came to know about said FIR as he had received telephonic call from Gobindghar Mandi Police Station directing him to appear before the said police station in connection with said complaint.

It is submitted that the dispute is commercial in nature and notice u/s 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act was issued to the applicant. The applicant is seeking temporary relief for a period of four weeks to approach the competent Court for appropriate relief. 4.
In view of the above, protection can be granted to the applicant for temporary period of four weeks. Hence, I pass following order :
ORDER
(i) In the event of arrest of applicant in connection with CR No.86 of 2018 registered with Gobindghar Mandi Police Station, Fatehgarh Sahib District, Punjab, either by Gobindghar Mandi Police Station, Fatehgarh Sahib District, Punjab or through local police station viz Mahatma Phule Chowk Police Station, Kalyan, the applicant be released on bail on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount;
3 of 3 43.ABA.1842.2018.doc (ii) This relief is granted for a period of four weeks from today to enable the applicant to approach the competent Court for appropriate reliefs;
(iii) Criminal Anticipatory Bail Application No.1842 of 2018 is disposed off.
