Learned Counsel for the respondent No.1 has tendered a copy of the order dated 8th January 2018, passed by this Court (Coram : A.S.Gadkari J.) in the applications filed by the State of Maharashtra seeking cancellation of regular bail of the respondent - accused therein. The said order dated 8th January, 2018, reads thus:- "The present applications are for cancellation of regular bail granted by the Trial Court in the year 2010. Though, the applications are pending for last more than 7 years, it appears that prosecution is not interested in pursing the applications.

Applications are accordingly dismissed."

Considering that the aforesaid application is also pending since 2015 and no steps have been taken by the Applicant - State, to move the aforesaid application seeking cancellation of regular bail which was granted by the trial Court in 2010 till date, it appears that the prosecution is not interested in pursuing the said application.
