The Petitioner relied upon the order of extension stated to be granted by the Respondents which expires on 11 August 2023. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner tenders scanned copy of the Affidavit of the Petitioner stating that the Petitioner shall report for duty on or before 11 August 2023. The learned Counsel states that the affirmed original copy of the Affidavit will be filed within two working days.

To ensure compliance, place the Petition on Board on 17 August 2023, under the caption "for Directions"." This order came to be passed in view of the Petitioner's own stand that the Petitioner was promised that the Petitioner would be continued till 10 August 2023, and, therefore, considering this stand, we had placed the matter today under the caption "for Directions", thereby granting the extension as the Petitioner had sought for.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that Petitioner has reported to duty as per the order. The learned counsel for the Respondents confirms this position.

Now since the Petitioner has joined and filed an affidavit as above, the learned counsel for the parties are ad-idem that nothing survives in this petition. Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. All pending Applications stand disposed of.
