Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent - State. 2.

By this application, the applicant seeks transit bail to appear before the EOW CID Crime, Ahmedabad.

Learned counsel for the applicant states that the applicant has received summons

from I.I.SHAIKH, Detective Police Inspector, EOW CID Crime, Ahmedabad. The said summons is on page No.14 of the application. It appears from the summons, that the applicant has been called to appear for recording of her statement. Learned counsel for the applicant apprehends arrest and hence seeks transit bail, to enable the applicant to file an application before the appropriate Court. The applicant on page 5, para 7 of the application has averred that the applicant apprehends that EOW CID, Crime, Gujrat may arrest her and hence, seeks transit bail. 4.

Accordingly, the applicant is protected for a period of three weeks from today, in respect to the case for which summons has been issued, in order to enable her to approach the appropriate Court, for seeking appropriate relief.

It is made clear, that this application has not been considered on merits and if such an application for pre-arrest bail is filed, the same shall be considered on its own merits, uninfluenced by the transit bail granted by this Court.

Accordingly, the Application is disposed of.
