The respondent No.2 appears to have initiated proceedings being Criminal M.A. No.1531 of 2015 which is pending on the file of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Pune. 2.

It is the case of the petitioners that since respondent No.2 is getting maintenance, she is not interested in pursuing the said proceedings, as such directions needs to be issued to expedite the said proceedings which are under the provisions of Prevention of Women from Domestic Violence Act.

Today, so also on last date of hearing, none appeared for the petitioners.

It appears that the proceedings against the petitioners are pending since last seven years. That being so, keeping option open to the petitioners to approach the Magistrate with a prayer for expeditious hearing of the said proceedings, which the Magistrate is directed to consider having regards to the policy of deciding five years old matters expeditiously, we do not see any reason for the orders in the matters.

The petition accordingly stands disposed of.
