Learned counsel for the applicant states that he received a notice from Kashimira Police Station on 22/06/2021 and he complied with the said notice. Once again, on 23/03/2022, similar notice was issued to him and, according to him, he reported to the police station. Till date, no FIR has been registered and a limited relief which is sought for by the applicant is, in case, the FIR is registered and the Investigating Offcer desires his custody, he shall give 72 hours notice in advance.

I have no hesitancy in granting the said relief. In case, on the basis of the complaint, for which the applicant was called for inquiry on two occasions, an FIR is registered, the Investigating Offcer shall serve 72 hours notice in advance.

With the aforesaid direction, the application stands disposed off.
