Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

The learned APP, on instructions, submits that four witnesses have already been examined.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, the learned Counsel for the applicant seeks leave to withdraw the application.

The learned Counsel for the applicant, however, submits that in the event the trial is not concluded within a reasonable period, the applicant be permitted to revive the prayer for bail.

As the trial is commenced, the submission appears justifiable.

Application stands dismissed as withdrawn.

The learned Special Judge seized with Special Case No.683 of 2020 arising out of CR No.11 of 2020 registered with ANC Ghatkopar Unit, Mumbai, is requested to make an endeavour to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within a period of eight months from the date of the communication of this order.

8.

In the event, the trial is not concluded within the said period, the applicant shall have liberty to revive the prayer for bail.
