Application for early hearing is allowed which is preferred by the respondent in the appeal preferred by the State. The State had challenged the acquittal of the original accused for the offence punishable under Section 7, 13(1)(d) and 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Present applicant / respondent in appeal is aged about 57 years and is retiring shortly. Apparently his pensionery benefits are withheld. As such, considering these circumstances the appeal is expedited. Present application is allowed. Appeal be kept for final hearing on 30th July, 2015. R & P is already received. ( A. R. JOSHI, J.)
