The applicant is in custody from 28st November, 2014 i.e. almost for a period of about 5 years, 5 months. The applicant is prosecuted for offences punishable under Section 395 r/w Section 34 of Indian Penal Code and under the Provision of Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act, 1999 ( for short "MCOC Act"). 2.

The previous application of the applicant was rejected by this Court vide order dated 12th January, 2017. Learned APP on instructions submitted that the prosecution proposes to examine about 18 witnesses. The trial has commenced and one witness has been already examined. In these circumstances, the trial Court is requested to conclude the trial within a period of six months from today.
