It is submitted that the petitioner's caste verification application is pending before respondent no.2 - Divisional Caste Certificates Scrutiny Committee No.1, Mumbai Division, Mumbai (Raigad), Konkan Bhavan, New Bombay since 21st November, 2011. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the year 2012, the petitioner was elected as Member of Malegaon Panchayat Samiti. In case, the proposal is still pending before the respondent no.2 -
