At the outset, as soon as the matters were called out, learned counsel for the applicants, seeks leave to withdraw both the aforesaid applications. She submits that the applicants are languishing in jail since
2/2 19-ba.2522&2518.doc 2016 i.e. for about 5 years and requests that the trial of the applicants be expedited. She submits that till date only one witness has been examined. 2.
Applications are accordingly disposed of as withdrawn. However, having regard to the fact that the applicants are in custody since 2016 and the trial has commenced, inasmuch as, one witness has been examined in the said case, the learned Judge to conclude the case as expeditiously as possible and in any event on or before 31st December 2021.

It is made clear, that the aforesaid applications have not been heard on merits.
