The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact, the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement. Criminal Application No.1063 of 2015 was heard by the Hon'ble Division Bench on 20th December, 2016 and a statement was made by the parties that they have arrived at an amicable settlement. Since this writ petition was pending, the Hon'ble Division Bench was pleased to direct that the present petition be listed before the Single Bench. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the interregnum, the husband of the present petitioner has expired.

In view of this, the Petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (B). The proceedings in RCC No.158 of 2014 are hereby quashed. Rule is made absolute. The Petition stands disposed of. (SMT. SADHANA S.JADHAV, J.)
